Andrew Flintoff and Yuvraj Singh exchanged words before the Indian all-rounder slammed six sixes in an over against a hapless Stuart Broad during the 2007 T20 World Cup. However, before the miraculous feat from Yuvraj, he was sledged by Flintoff who threatened to 'cut off' the Indian all-rounder's throat.
The incident took place on 19 September 2007 as India faced England in the inaugural T20 World Cup Super Eight match. Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag gave the Men in Blue a flying start after which Yuvraj came out to bat in the 18th over.
The Indian all-rounder slammed a couple of boundaries against Flintoff who then appeared to exchange words with Yuvraj. Tensions flared and tempers boiled over as the pair threatened each other. Years later, the legendary Indian cricketer revealed what his opponent told him at the time and how he responded.
"That was a lucky shot. Iβm gonna cut your throat off!" Andrew Flintoff yelled at Yuvraj Singh after being frustrated by the boundaries. However, the Indian cricketer refused to be bogged down and came up with a stunning reply.

"You see this bat? You know where Iβm gonna hit you with it," fired back Yuvraj. The argument sparked a never-seen-before feat as Stuart Broad came to bowl the next over but he had little idea what would happen to him.
Yuvraj Singh channeled his beast mode and slammed six sixes in a row, the commentators bewildered as Ravi Shastri was calling the game and Broad looked petrified. He had no idea what happened to him but the Indian all-rounder was all fired up. 36 runs came in the over as Yuvraj glanced over to look at Flintoff after the sledging incident.
India won the game by 18 runs and Yuvraj Singh was adjudged Man of the Match. The Men in Blue would go on to win the T20 World Cup crown defeating Pakistan in the final under MS Dhoni's leadership.
