An Amber Alert was issued for a 14-year-old girl, Nevaeha Orellana, Friday after she went missing from Longfellow Street in Washington DC on Thursday morning. Police said that they are investigating a possible abduction. Later, DC police said in a post that Orellana was safely located but the investigation is still on.

Nevaeha Orellana has been described in a notice by DC Police as a black female with a light complexion and a height of 5-foot-3. At the time of her disappearance from the 1300 block of Longfellow Street, she was wearing a white shirt, pink pants and black sneakers.

DC Police had said that they believed the suspect in the possible abduction is driving a black SUV and silver sedan registered in Virginia. It's number tag reads, 10992U.
