Hyderabad: The excise police has seized several kgs of whiskey-laced ice cream in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills. The team confiscated around 11.5 kg of whiskey ice cream and arrested several individuals involved in the racket. The seizure took place at Ariko Cafe Ice Cream Parlour, operated in Road No. 1 and 5 in Jubilee Hills.
The excise officials found that whiskey ice creams were being sold openly here. The parlor, operated by Sharath Chandra Reddy, was mixing 60 ml of whiskey into each kilogram of ice cream and selling it at high prices.

The accused, Dayakar Reddy and Shobhan, were also advertising their product on Facebook to attract more customers. A case has been registered against the accused.
