The death of a popular Mexican YouTuber has left the internet shocked. Miguel Vivanco, known online as 'El Jasper,' first went missing and was later reported dead on November 23 in Mexico's Sinaloa region. While the death is being investigated, there are allegations that it is linked to Sinaloa's infamous drug cartels.

El Jasper rose to prominence with his collaborations alongside Marquitos Toys, a fellow Mexican YouTuber. As per local media reports, he was abducted by an armed group and was found with at least 70 gunshot wounds. Soon after, photos allegedly of the YouTuber's dead body tied with green tape surfaced on social media leaving his fans in shock.

What Happened To El Jasper?

While the death is still being investigated, the violent nature of the crime has raised many eyebrows. There are suggestions doing rounds, albeit unconfirmed at this stage, that the local drug cartels were involved in the YouTuber's death. Some say that El Jasper had connections with the big shots in the local drug cartels.

As per some reports, El Jasper was being investigated in the United States for his alleged connection with cartel activities. There are wild speculations that the death may have been linked to the infamous Guzman family – a major cartel based out of the Sinaloa region of Mexico. On the other hand, others suggest that both El Jasper and his fellow YouTuber, Marquitos Toys, were involved with the Los Chapitos gang, linked to El Chapo – a prominent drug lord in Mexico.

Notably, these are just rumours, as the authorities are yet to connect the YouTuber's death to the drug cartel. Thus far, no arrests have been made, either.
