Vikas Sethi's mortal remains are at the Cooper hospital in Mumbai. His last rites will be held today, September 9. The Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kasautii Zindagii Kay fame died in Nashik on September 7 late night in his sleep following a cardiac arrest. He was 48. Sethi's Jhanvi has now revealed what happened moments before he breathed his last. She says that he was vomiting and was very unwell.
The hours before Vikas Sethi died
Jhanvi Sethi and Vikas Sethi were in Nashik to attend a family function. “After we reached my mother’s house in Nashik, he had vomiting and loose motions. He didn’t want to go to the hospital so we asked the doctor to come home. When I went to wake him up at around 6 am (on Sunday), he was no more. The doctor there told us he passed away last night in his sleep due to a cardiac arrest,” Jhanvi told PTI. His mortal remains were sent for post-mortem to Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital.

Vikas Sethi's last rites details
Vikas Sethi's final rites will take place today at around 2 pm. It will be carried out according to the Hindu traditions. The venue is – 5R2R+2P6, Dhyaneshwar Nagar, Jogeshwari West, Andheri, Mumbai. The ceremony is expected to be attended by several members of the television fraternity.

Times Now/ Telly Talk India had earlier reported exclusively that Vikas was not in Mumbai at the time of his demise. He was attending a wedding outside Mumbai. For a long time now, this Kyunki actor was very short of work and finances as well.
Vikas Sethi is survived by his wife Jhanvi Sethi and twin boys.

Vikas Sethi's most notable television appearances include in Kahiin To Hoga, as Swayam Shergill and in the soap opera Kasautii Zindagi Kay, where he played the role of Prem Basu. He appeared in the fourth season of Nach Baliye, performing along with his then wife, Amita.
