Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has said that Arab and Muslim nations should take concrete action against the Israeli regime's crimes in Gaza and Lebanon.
While speaking at an emergency summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League in Saudi Arabia on Monday, Assad said that Palestinian people's rights can only be saved through a strong action, Islamic Republic News Agency reported.
"We keep speaking, they kill, we speak of peace, they commit massacres," he said.
Other leaders present at the summit also condemned the Israeli attacks on Gaza and urged for a strong action plan.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said Saudi Arabia vehemently opposes Israel's "collective genocide" in Gaza, its attacks in Lebanon, and its interference with Iranian sovereignty, the news outlet stated.
Bin Salman was alluding to the Israeli regime's most recent act of warfare against the Islamic Republic (Iran), in which Israeli warplanes launched attacks on multiple army targets in Tehran and two other regions last month via US-controlled Iraqi airspace.
The Saudi Arabian crowned prince further emphasized that the occupation of Palestinian territory is unlawful and urged the United Nations, to step in and cease the Israeli aggression.
Iran's Vice President Mohammad Reza also voiced his profound concern for the "shameful catastrophe" that occurred in occupied Palestine and more recently, in Lebanon in the past year, attributing to the "sense of impunity" that Israel enjoys due to the constant backing of several Western nations, particularly the United States.
