As music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja celebrated his 45th birthday on August 31, makers of his upcoming project The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), directed by Venkat Prabhu and starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role, took to their social media to release the fourth single titled Matta from the film on Saturday.
The song from the Vijay-starrer is sung by Yuvan, Shenbagaraj, Velu, Sam, and Narayanan Ravishankar, with Vivek penning the lyrics. Three singles from the film Whistle Podu, Chinna Chinna Kangal, and Spark were released earlier.
About GOAT
Apart from Vijay, GOAT also stars Prashanth, Ajmal Ameer, Sneha, Laila, Meenaakshi Chaudhary, Prabhudeva, Mohan, and Jayaram in prominent roles. Along with them are Venkat Prabhu's frequent collaborators Vaibhav, Premgi, Ajay Raj, and Aravind Akash. Late actor and politician Vijayakanth will appear as a character in the film with the help of AI technology.
GOAT features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, editing by Venkat Raajen, art direction by Rajeevan, and action choreography by Dileep Subbarayan. Archana Kalpathi has produced the film under the AGS Entertainment banner.
Release Marketing In Full Swing
The makers are marketing the film in North Indian States as well. A tweet by Zee Studios read "ThalapathyIsTheGOAT promotions in full swing across North We are taking Thalapathy @actorvijay swag across North India in style on the move"
Another tweet read "Taking the North by storm #TheGreatestOfAllTime is now lighting up North India's metro stations".
The film is said to release on September 5.
