Vijay's final film, before his big political entry, tentatively titled Thalapathy 69, has gone on floors today, October 4.
The makers took to X to share images from the puja ceremony of Thalapathy 69. The images feature the star cast of the film, including Director H Vinoth, Thalapathy Vijay, Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde.
Thalapathy 69 begins with puja
In the images Vijay is seen dressed in a traditional white veshti with a shirt, while Pooja Hegde stuns in a beige saree. On the other hand, Bobby Deol was seen looking sharp in casual. Mamitha Baiju looked pretty in her yellow kurta set. Actor Narain and director H Vinoth were dressed in shirt and trousers.

About Thalapathy 69
Thalapathy 69 is expected to be the Vijay’s final on-screen performance before he plunges full-time into politics. The film’s first poster hints that, showcasing Vijay is the “torch-bearer of democracy.” The film also stars Gautham Menon, Prakash Raj and Priyamani. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music.
While the final title of the film is yet to be announced, Thalapathy 69 is gearing up to hit theatres on October 2025.
