Ranga Reddy District: Chaos erupted in Telangana’s Ranga Reddy district on Wednesday after MLA Kale Yadaiah’s vehicle was attacked with eggs and tomatoes by alleged Congress workers. The incident took place in Chevella, a town in the district. Notably, Yadaiah recently joined the Congress from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). According to reports, local Congress workers alleged that the MLA is supporting local BRS leaders. Times Now accessed the video of the incident.
The police also reached the spot. In the video, it could be seen that alleged Congress workers are throwing eggs and tomatoes at the MLa's vehicles. Meanwhile, cops are trying to control the situation. The police also detained some of the protesters.

Who Is Kale Yadaiah?
Yadaiah joined the Congress in June this year. He contested the 2023 Telangana Assembly polls on a BRS ticket from Chevella and defeated Pamena Beem Bharat of the Congress by a narrow margin of 268 votes.
After the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh in 2014. Yadaiah contested from Chevella on a Congress ticket and won by a narrow margin of 781 votes, but later joined Telangana Rashtra Samithi. He contested the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections on the TRS (previous name of BRS) ticket and won with a majority of 33,552 votes.
