Director Venkat Prabhu recently posted a photo with legendary Malayalam actor Mohanlal on his social media page.
The filmmaker took to his handle to share a photo with the Jailer actor.

Sharing the picture, he wrote, "With the one & only laletta @mohanlal." Soon after he posted the image, netizens began to speculate whether the two met to discuss the actor's role in Thalapathy Vijay's The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) which is directed by Venkat Prabhu.
A social media user wrote, "Goat cameo? Will there be any other way," another user wrote "jilla team Mohanlal and Vijay in GOAT?
As per the reports, the actor will not be seen in GOAT. Mohanlal and Venkat Prabhu met during the final mix of GOAT and the post-production Mohanlal's upcoming film work of Barroz.
Taking to his social media page Venkat Prabhu posted that he has completed the sound mix if the film. "Greatest of all time!!! Final sound mix done!!! Thanks #udhaykumar and team!! About Barroz
Barroz is an upcoming Malayalam fantasy film directed by Mohanlal which marks his directorial debut. It was written by Jijo Punnoose based on his novelBarroz: Guardian of D'Gama's Treasure, and produced by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas.
It stars Mohanlal in the titular role, with Maya, Kallirroi Tziafeta, Cesar Lorente Raton, Tuhin Menon, and Guru Somasundaram in other significant roles. The original score was composed by Mark Kilian, with songs composed by Lydian Nadhaswaram.

The shoot of the film took place in Kochi and Goa, with two songs filmed in Bangkok and Chennai. The film was shot in 3D.
Barroz is scheduled to be released in theatres worldwide on 3 October 2024
