The actor recently hinted at Tenali Rama's comeback on television. Talking about the same Krishna Bharadwaj who aced the role of Tenali Rama in the show shares about going bald once again for the show. Speaking to Etimes, Krishna said, "After the show ended in 2020, I wanted to break free from the image, but that wasn't easy. I was bald for four years during the show, so I thought once my hair grew, I would be able to take up different roles. But the image of Tenali Rama is so strong that even today, I get messages on social media from people saying they are waiting for the next season."

The actor who will have to go bald again for Tenali Rama 2.0. said, "It was a tough decision this time because after my hair grew back, I spent a lot of money to maintain them. But I have no complaints; Tenali's character is a part of me now. I've always believed that for male characters on Indian television, there's hardly anything to portray. Only a few shows allow a male actor to display various shades, and I am glad to have gotten that opportunity,” said Krishna.
