Donald Trump and his predecessor Joe Biden met at the White House for lunch Wednesday where the President formally welcomed the President-elect. The meeting of two bitter political rivals, who battled it out first in the 2020 US elections, and then for the greater part of the 2024 elections, resulted in a lot of memes and funny commentary. Recently, an AI-generated video went viral showing Biden and Trump skipping the 'boring' White House lunch and going on a wild adventure.

The video was created by Los Angeles-based artist Ari K and shared on his X account. Here's the video:

The meeting between Trump and Biden took place at the Oval Office and lasted for over two hours. It was followed by a lunch at the White House. At the meeting, Biden reiterated his commitment to ensuring a smooth transition of power, saying that he would do "everything we can to make sure [Trump is] accommodated."

Responding to it, Trump said: "Politics is tough, and it's, in many cases, not a very nice world but it is a nice world today. And I appreciate it very much. A transition that's so smooth, it'll be as smooth as it can get, and I very much appreciate that, Joe."

While leaving Washington after the meeting, Trump spoke exclusively to the New York Post and said that they " both really enjoyed seeing each other."

“You know, it’s been a long, it’s been a long slog,” Trump said. "It’s been a lot of work on both sides and he did a very good job with respect to campaigning and everything else. We really had a really good meeting.”

“We got to know each other again,” the 78-year-old added.
