trump again claims fidel castro was justin trudeau's father

As Donald Trump seeks another term at the White House this November, he has come up with a new coffee table book called 'Save America.' In the book, the 78-year-old has repeated some of the previously made claims about Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, including suggesting that he could be the son of Fidel Castro, former leader of Cuba.

An excerpt of the book, which is yet to hit the market, was obtained by Daily Mail and appeared in a report on August 29. As per the report, Trump has suggested that Fidel Castro could be Trudeau's father. Trump then goes on to talk about how he and Trudeau get along well but are different, in the sense that Trudeau is liberal while he is not.

"Justin Trudeau and I got along very well, but there were natural differences in that he is very Liberal, and I, to put it mildly, am not," Trump has written in the book, as per the Daily Mail report. "It will be very interesting to see how we do in the future, but first, I have to get [ to the White House]," he added.

What is the basis of the claim?

Trump had said that Trudeau's mother, Margaret Trudeau, had sexual encounters with the members of the band Rolling Stone. The lead of Rolling Stone, Mick Jagger, referenced the story during a tour stop in Canada. The report says that Trump has also talked about the incident in the new book, 'Save America.'

"His mother was beautiful and wild. In the 1970s, she would go “clubbing” with the Rolling Stones, but she was also somehow associated with Fidel Castro. She said he was 'the sexiest man I’ve ever met,' and a lot of people say that Justin is his son."

"He swears that he isn’t, but how the hell would he know! Castro had good hair, the 'father' didn’t, Justin has good hair, and has become a Communist just like Castro.'

Is Justin Trudeau Fidel Castro's Son?

Justin Trudeau is not Fidel Castro's son, according to the Canadian government. Cuba, where Fidel Castro was the leader for years, has never claimed that Trudeau is Castro's son. According to a February 2018 report by the Associated Press, Justin Trudeau's parents did not visit Cuba until several years after Trudeau was born.

The report noted that Trudeau was born just over nine months after his parents' marriage and four years before Margaret's highly publicized trip to Cuba to meet Fidel Castro. At 22, Margaret married the 51-year-old prime minister and faced intense media scrutiny. Experts believe an earlier trip to Cuba would have been impossible to overlook.
