GOAT starring Vijay in the lead, is creating new records at the box office, even three weeks after its release.

The film which hit screens on September 5, has earned over Rs 400 crore at the box office. One of the talking points about GOAT is Vijay’s performance and the twist that the duals roles played by him brought into the script.

Another highlight of the film was Trisha's cameo in the song Matta. Now the makers have released the official video song.

Trisha Krishnan posted "Matta" with a evil eye emoji and a yellow heart caption.

In the song, Trisha is addressed as the yellow saree girl. Fans have been recreating her yellow saree and Matta hook step on Instagram reels, winning her attention, as she is often seen reposting them.

One has to note that Trisha Krishnan also posts the evil eye emoji when she updates a post with her costar Vijay.

About Matta Song From GOAT

In the song Matta, Trisha Krishnan and Vijay danced to the hook step from their 2004 film Ghilli, creating a feeling of nostalgia among ardent fans of the couple, who are considered one of Tamil cinemas most loved on-screen pairs.

As per reports Trisha Krishnan charged a whopping Rs 1 crore for her brief two-minute appearance. Although the official report about it hasn't been announced yet.

Composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the song Matta is an energetic dance number, featuring Jeevan/Sanjay the younger character of Vijay, in the film.

Vivek has penned the lyrics for Matta with the song sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja , Shenbagaraj, Velu, Sam, and Narayanan Ravishankar. The song has been choreographed by dance master Sekhar VJ, who is famous for choreographing the song Kurchi Madathapetti from Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Karaam.
