The next big-ticket pan-India film afterDevara is Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule. Industry sources exclusively reveal toZoom that Triptii was keen on doing a special song in the Sukumar directorial.

According to the source, “Triptii Dimri, the current sensation in Bollywood, was keen on being a part of Pushpa 2: The Rule through an item song. She even auditioned for the same.”

The source then added, “The makers auditioned Triptii Dimri, but rejected her.” The reason behind the rejection hasn’t been disclosed.

InPushpa: The Rise, Samantha Ruth Prabhu set the screen ablaze with her incredible performance on the song, titled Oo Antava. Reports claimed that the actress would have a cameo in the sequel, however, there’s no confirmation yet.
