A seemingly self-recorded video of an individual claiming to be a former high school student of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz surfaced. The individual in the video claims to be Matthew Metro, who studied under Walz at Mankato West High School, and alleges that Walz sexually assaulted him back in 1997.
Times Now Digital cannot verify the authenticity of the video. However, Shayan Sardarizadeh, a senior journalist at BBC Verify – the fact-checking unit of BBC Verify, posted on X saying that the video has all the signs of a deep fake.
