Kamala Harris' running mate Tim Walz appeared to walk away after he was asked about the deaths of six Hamas hostages in Gaza, including American citizen Hersh Goldberg-Polin. The 23-year-old victim was abducted by the militant group from the Re'im music festival massacre on October 7, 2023. Walz is yet to address his video posted by the Donald Trump campaign.
From the clip, it is unclear if the Minnesota governor, who was at his home state's state fair in St Paul, heard a reporter's question about Goldberg-Polin's death. However, as soon as it was uttered, the VP hopeful bid onlookers farewell.

Israeli forces earlier this week revealed that they found the bodies of six dead Hamas hostages in Gaza. The captives have been identified Saturday as Carmel Gat, Eden Yerushalmi, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Alexander Lobanov, Almog Sarusi and Master Sgt Ori Danino. They were among the more than 200 taken by militants on October 7.

Five of them were abducted from an Israeli music festival and another from a nearby area. The IDF said the victims were 'brutally murdered'.
Walz was asked: "What's your reaction to the six hostages found in Gaza?" At that point, a staffer for the Harris running mate appeared to ask him to leave.

"All right, thanks everybody!" the Minnesota Governor said, before walking off.
Reacting to Walz's video, one social media user said: "Tim Walz was asked a direct question about six hostages, including an American citizen named Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who were just murdered by Hamas after being held captive for over 300 days. Walz *ignored* the question and then *walked away* with his ice cream. Sickening."
