The Sabarmati Report review
Times Now gave The Sabarmati Report 3 stars and the review read, “The Sabarmati Report is based on the real-life events surrounding the burning of the Sabarmati Express. On the dark morning of February 27, 2002, a fire broke out in the train, resulting in the deaths of 59 people. The train, returning from a religious gathering in Ayodhya, was primarily carrying individuals from the Hindu community. While contradictory reports and theories about the horrifying incident exist, this Vikrant Massey-starrer aligns with the findings of the Nanavati-Mehta Commission. According to both the movie and the document it is based on, a large Muslim mob attacked the S-6 and S-7 coaches of the Sabarmati Express near the Godhra railway station, throwing stones before setting the train on fire, leading to the loss of innocent lives.”
The Sabarmati Report starring Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, and Ridhi Dogra, directed by Dheeraj Sarna and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan, a worldwide wide release by Zee Studios. The film is now released in theatres.
