In the new season of The Night Agent, Gabriel Basso’s Peter Sutherland finally gets to go on his first mission. The second season of the Netflix series premieres on January 23, 2025, as all the episodes will be available to watch at one go. Gabriel Basso is on assignment in The Night Agent Season 2
On X (formerly Twitter), the official account of Netflix posted, "The phone rings and duty calls. The Night Agent, starring Gabriel Basso, returns JANUARY 23." New character Catherine (Amanda Warren) tells Peter in the teaser, "It takes a certain kind of person to succeed as a Night Agent." Peter is chased down by new foes as he goes out on assignment in the new season.
Luciane Buchanan returns as Rose, while other series regulars for Season 2 include Arienne Mandi, Louis Herthum, Berto Colon, Keon Alexander, Brittany Snow, Teddy Sears, Navid Negahban, and Rob Heaps. Marwan Kenzari, Elise Kibler, and Dikran Tulaine appear as guest stars.

About The Night Agent
After its premiere in 2023,The Night Agent quickly became the most-watched new Netflix series of 2023. Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, Basso plays an agent named Peter who thwarts a terrorist conspiracy in the White House and saves the life of President Michelle Travers (Kari Matchett). The show has already been renewed for a third season, which is currently filming in Istanbul and in New York in 2025. Creator and showrunner Shawn Ryan shared that Season2 will explore Peter and Rose’s relationship after his new adventures with the Night Action team.
