Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to don an investigative avatar in her next big project, The Buckingham Murders. Tne intriguing trailer of the crime-drama film was launched on Tuesday, and it promises to take audience on a thrilling ride of chaos around a murder mystery.
Kareena is sporting a completely de-glam look in The Buckingham Murders. She plays Jasmeet Bhamra, a British-Indian detective who has recently lost her child. As a grieving mother, she is assigned the case of a murdered 10-year-old child in Buckinghamshire.

The trailer shows Kareena portraying different shades of emotions, while maintaining a balance between her personal loss and agony, and that of her professional duties. As a detective sergeant, her Jasmeet is neck-deep into the investigation of the case of a child's death. As she goes deep down a rabbit hole of secrets, every person she meets in the small town becomes a suspect.

About The Buckingham Murders
Kareena is set to turn producer with The Buckingham Murders that has been co-produced by Ektaa R. Kapoor, and directed by Hansal Mehta.
As per synopsis, The Buckingham Murders follows Jasmeet Bhamra (portrayed by Kareena Kapoor Khan), a detective and mother who, after losing her own child, must investigate the murder of a 10-year-old in Buckinghamshire.

Kareena previously told Variety, that her character in the film was inspired by Kate Winslet's role in Mare of Easttown. “I love ‘Mare of Easttown’ and when Hansal came to me, I said this is something that I’ve really been dying to do. So we’ve moulded a little bit on those lines, she plays a detective cop in that,” she shared.
The Buckingham Murders also stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen. It will release on September 13.
