A Tesla Cybertruck crashed in California's Piedmont on Wednesday afternoon prompting investigations. As per local media reports, the vehicle, made by Elon Musk-owned Tesla, alerted the police about the crash on its own. At least three people died in the incident.

The incident happened at around 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday and the vehicle's automated crash safety system alerted the police about the crash by dialing 911. However, when the police arrived at the scene, the car was engulfed in flames. According to reports, there was a driver inside the vehicle, but a driver nearby stopped and pulled the driver out before flames started engulfing the vehicle.

The report added that there were three other passengers in the vehicle who were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to a nearby medical facility where treatment is currently underway. However, the severity and the extent of the injury is currently unclear.
