Tata Motors has recently updated its popular SUV lineup, the Harrier and Safari, with new features. Both of these SUVs have become fairly popular in their respective segments and with the addition of these subtle features, the company is hoping to keep these cars competitive against the segment rivals. Both models now offer a wider range of color choices. Some previously limited colors are now available on lower trims, and vice versa. Here's a breakdown:

Advanced ADAS

The Harrier and Safari have also received an upgrade to their Autonomous Driving Assistance System (ADAS). The new ADAS suite now includes Lane Keep Assist and Lane Centering Assist, enhancing safety and convenience. This advanced feature is available on the Adventure + A, Fearless +, and Accomplished + variants. Existing owners of the Harrier and Safari facelifts can upgrade their vehicles to enjoy the new ADAS features at no additional cost.

No Other Changes

Apart from the new color options and ADAS update, there are no other mechanical or feature changes to the Harrier and Safari. Both models continue to be powered by the same 170hp, 2.0-liter diesel engine, paired with manual or automatic transmission options.

The Harrier is priced between Rs 14.99 lakh and Rs 25.89 lakh, while the Safari ranges from Rs 15.49 lakh to Rs 26.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Both SUVs continue to compete with the Mahindra XUV700 and MG Hector in the Indian market.
