Tata Motors has been planning to launch the Curvv in the Indian market for quite a while now. Going through the process, the brand revealed the car and its details in August along with the pricing of the electric version of the car. However, the brand held back on revealing the prices of the internal combustion engine version of the vehicle. Now the time has come and the brand will launch the vehicle tomorrow.
The ICE version of the Curvv comes with a unique front grille to provide air to the engine and cooling system, sporting a slightly modified design compared to its electric counterpart. However, the overall SUV-coupe style body maintains consistency, featuring a sloping roofline that seamlessly blends with the rear end. The vehicle is equipped with streamlined door handles to improve aerodynamics. This design is complemented by newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels.
Tata Motors’ latest model is offered in six different trim levels: Smart, Pure+, Creative, Creative+ S, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ A. These variations come with a mix of features, including a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen system, a fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and more.
The brand has reinforced the vehicle's frame to boost safety. Additionally, the brand provides various safety features such as six airbags, ESC, disc brakes on all four wheels, TPMS, Level 2 ADAS with a suite of 20 features, a 360-degree camera, a front parking sensor, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and more.
The ICE version of the Curvv is scheduled to be launched with a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine, a new 1.2-liter direct injection turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The SUV coupe will offer transmission options, including a 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DCT.
With all the aforementioned details, Tata Curvv will be placed above the Nexon in the brand's lineup. It is expected to be priced between Rs 9 to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) making it more expensive than Nexon.
