suryakumar yadav's no-risk message to sanju samson in nervous 90s, wicketkeeper comes up with a cheeky reply ind vs ban

Sanju Samson’s maiden T20I hundred piled more misery on Bangladesh as India secured the T20I series 3-0. Riding on Sanju's blistering knock, the Men In Blue thrashed Bangladesh by 133 runs in Hyderabad on Saturday to secure one of their biggest wins in T20I history.

It was the Sanju Samson show as the Indian wicketkeeper decided to launch a brutal assault on the Bangladesh bowlers. He went berserk with his shot selection and went on to record the second fastest century ever by an Indian in T20Is.

The wicketkeeper-batter was expected to deliver as this T20I series would have further strengthened his position in the Indian team. Despite the pressure, Sanju didn't play cautiously in the 90s and decided to play his natural game as he reached his first T20I ton in style.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav who was at the other end enjoyed the Samson show. The Indian skipper later asked Samson why he took all the risk when he was in the 90s. During a chat with BCCI after the match Sky said, "I enjoyed it from the other end. One of the best hundreds I have ever seen.

"You were on 96 or 97 and going down the straight, over the top, taking that risk-what was running in your mind?

Samson replied, "The team atmosphere and the environment which we have created in these many weeks… The message is, go be aggressive and humble. These are the two words that our captain and coach keep reminding us. So, I think that suits my nature, my character, so I just kept on going for it."

India further dominated their authority in the home stretch with back to back Test and T20I series wins over Bangladesh and they will now face new Zealand in a three match Test series starting from October 16.
