Rupali Ganguly found herself surrounded by a huge controversy after her stepdaughter Esha Verma made shocking allegations against the actress. Sudhanshu Pandey, who played the role of Rupali's on-screen husband Vanraj in Anupamaa, has shared his thoughts on the allegations made by her stepdaughter.
Sudhanshu reacts to allegations made against Rupali
A few months ago, Pandey suddenly quit the show, which made the fans wonder if something unfolded between the co-stars. Amid the rumours Sudhanshu mentioned how his decision was purely his and no one is to be blamed.
In an interview with News18, Sudhanshu chose to maintain a diplomatic stance when asked about the current matter involving Ganguly. When asked about his take, he said, "I would rather not speak about it because it is a very personal matter. I have nothing to do with her personal life."

On being further quizzed, the actor said, "It is not good to speak about somebody else’s personal life. I think it is not required. Everybody goes through phases in their life, and I think we all deal with them ourselves. Rest is left to God."
Esha's allegations made against Rupali
Esha Verma had accused Rupali of mentally and physically harassing her and breaking up the family. Additionally, she alleged that Rupali had an affair with her father, Ashwin Verma, while he was still married to Esha's mother, Sapna. Esha also claimed that Rupali's son was "illegitimate" and that she had gotten pregnant before marrying Ashwin.

Rupali Ganguly filed a Rs 50 crore defamation case against Esha following these allegations. Esha subsequently deleted her posts and made her social media accounts private.
Rupali's lawyer, Sana Raees Khan, stated, "Our client asserts that the derogatory words and abusive language used publicly by you against her are profoundly degrading. These actions have damaged her reputation, violated her dignity, and adversely impacted her career, resulting in substantial financial losses."
