TheStree 2 credit war continues! Was it Rajkummar Rao or Shraddha Kapoor’s film? Director Amar Kaushik isn’t picking sides. However, the filmmaker did exclusively tellZoom that he wants the credit war to continue.
Amar Kaushik on the Stree 2 credit war
During an exclusive chat with Zoom, Amar Kaushik revealed the reaction of the cast to the ongoing ‘credit war’ debate across social media. Recalling that the cast video had called each other over the debate, Amar said, “We laughed out. Hum log sab bahut close hai, we are all friends. Lekin yeh fans hai. Fansko lagta hai ke ko film successful hui hai tho mere wajah se hui hai."

However, the director isn't upset by the fans' credit war. In fact, Amar wants the credit war to continue. "It is good for the film. Sab log usi bahane aur film dekh rahe hai," he said, before jokingly adding, “Yeh credit war aap aur kariye because ise bahane aur logo jayenge film dehkne. Jitne baar jaye, humare liye faida hai."

Amar also addressed the 'PR game' remark Aparshakti Khurana had made during an exclusive interview with Zoom. Reveling that he had called the Stree 2 actor following the controversy, the filmmaker said, “Maine Apar ko phone kiya and puch 'kya that?' Tho Apar ne bola 'Paji, mai tho aise he baat kar raha tha. Mere tho aadat hai bolne ke. Mai har baar has deta hu par is baar mai hasna bhul gaya, paji.‘ It looked serious, but (it wasn’t like that). I didn’t yell at him, but maine pucha 'yeh kya hai?'" Defending the actor, Amar said, “Voh aisa hai, agar uske dil mai male bhi hoga tho voh bol dega."
