In an exclusive interview withBollywood Hungama, Raj said he liked Stree more than Sarkata, the villain who was introduced in the sequel of the film. The actor said, “Bohot pyaari si hai, aati hai saari pehenke, aadha ghoonghat nikaal ke, fir jab mujhe dekhti hai to unka real roop bhi aa jaata hai saamne (She is sweet; she comes draped in a saree with a half-hanging veil, and when she sees me, her real personality comes out).”

Stree 2 review

An excerpt from Times Now‘s review read, “Amar Kaushik delivers exactly what is expected of him, and that’s no surprise. After all, he’s the master of the horror-comedy genre for a reason. Both elements are perfectly balanced, and it’s not just the script but also the direction that deserves credit. Speaking of the script, it’s packed with jokes—some that elicit chuckles and others that induce hearty laughter. Those who enjoy PJs will find this film to be a laughter riot. The horror aspect also holds its own; just when you’re laughing at a silly joke or pop culture reference, a sudden jolt shifts the mood. The latest installment in Maddock’s Horror Comedy Universe is like a jugalbandi between the horror and comedy genres.”
