Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2 has etched its name in cinematic history. The Amar Kaushik directorial, which has been breaking and making box office records since day 1, has now inaugurated the Rs 600 crore club for Bollywood. Stree 2 crossed the magical figure in its 6th week.
Also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana, Stree 2 overtook Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan as the highest-grossing Bollywood film at Hindi box office last week. And now, the horror-comedy has unlocked a whole new achievement for the Hindi film industry.
Sharing the date, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "IT'S 600 PAAR… #Stree2 creates HISTORY as the *first #Hindi film* to achieve this milestone… From metros to non-metros, multiplexes to single screens and urban centres to mass markets, #Stree2 is an OUTRIGHT WINNER across the board. [Week 6] Fri 5.20 cr, Sat 3.80 cr, Sun 5.32 cr. Total: ₹ 604.22 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice."

He added, "It would be premature to predict the *lifetime biz*, as #Stree2 has consistently surprised with phenomenal numbers day after day, week after week."
The fact that Stree 2 managed this historic feat in a three-way clash makes it all the more extraordinary. It arrived in cinemas alongside Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Veda.
Looking at its current pace, one cannot guess the lifetime total of Stree 2 at the moment. It is likely to continue surpassing expectations and set newer benchmark for Hindi films.
