Stray Kids will be taking center stage at the American Music Awards' 50th Anniversary Special. Ahead of their highly-awaited stage, the K-pop group revealed that they had collaborated with none other than NSYNC for the performance. Yes, you read that right!
Stray Kids tease collab with NSYNC at 2024 AMAs
During a recent interview with Billboard, Stray Kids revealed that they had collaborated with NSYNC for their special ‘tribute to boy bands’ performance at the upcoming American Music Awards. When asked how they felt about performing alongside a legendary boy group, Felix shared, “Just performing at the American Music Awards for the first time, and doing a collaboration with NSYNC was very memorable. It was very special. We were vibing, it was great.”

While the K-pop group didn't reveal much about the special performance, the host did bring up marionettes. With this, many fans are sure that Stray Kids performed NSYNC's hit track Bye Bye Bye. For the unversed, the members of NSYNC had transformed into living marionette dolls for the Bye Bye Bye music video.

For the unversed, the American Music Awards' 50th Anniversary Special is set to airon October 6. Brad Paisley, Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Green Day, Jennifer Hudson, Kane Brown, Mariah Carey andRAYE will be performing at the event. Additionally, special guests and announcers include Carrie Underwood, Gloria Estefan and Jennifer Lopez.

Stray Kids recently made a comeback with their ninth mini-album, ATE. On August 24, the K-pop group kicked off their dominATE world tour that is scheduled to take place across Asia, Australia, Latin America, North America and Europe. They are also set to drop GIANT, their second Japanese full-length album next month.
