In the most recent ICC Women’s ODI rankings released on Tuesday, India's captain Harmanpreet Kaur has ascended to the joint ninth spot, while opener Smriti Mandhana continues to hold the fourth position. Kaur contributed significantly to her team's impressive six-wicket win against New Zealand in the third ODI of the ICC Women’s Championship series in Ahmedabad. Despite this, she dropped three places in the rankings following the initial two matches.

India hold the third spot in the ICC Women’s Championship standings, accumulating 25 points, whereas New Zealand are positioned sixth with 20 points out of 21 matches. Australia and England are leading the standings with 28 points each. Australia have played 18 matches, while England have played 21 matches.

Opener Smriti Mandhana recently scored a century after which she has the highest number of centuries for India in ODI cricket. She gained points after this innings against New Zealand and holds the 4th position.

In the bowling chart, seasoned spinner Deepti Sharma earned significant rating points for her pivotal role in guiding India to a 2-1 series victory. Deepti, having achieved a career-high of 687 rating points last week as she maintained her second-place position among bowlers, has now added 16 more points for a total of 703 rating points after taking 3/39, securing her grip on the second spot. England's left-arm spinner Sophie Ecclestone is comfortably leading the rankings with an impressive 770 rating points. India's fast bowler Renuka Singh ascended by four spots to 32nd. Saima Thakor climbed 20 places to joint-77th and Priya Mishra advanced by six places to 83rd.

After failing to qualify for the knockouts in the T20 Women's World Cup team India came back strongly after beating the world champions New Zealand by 2-1.
