Bajirao Singham is back, and this time he’s bringing even more action-packed thrills in Singham Again. With heart-pounding sequences and intense drama, the film’s trailer has already stirred up major buzz among fans, who can’t wait to catch Rohit Shetty’s latest blockbuster in theatres on November 1. To raise the excitement, film’s director Rohit Shetty and lead actor Ajay Devgn graced a special event. At the event, Rohit was asked about how the idea of a cop universe struck him. Rohit Shetty reveals idea of a cop universe struck him during Simmba shoot
During the special event in Mumbai, Rohit Shetty was questioned about the idea of a cinematic cop universe. The Chennai Express director revealed., “When we were doing Simmba I came to him (Ajay Devgn) and said let’s merge into it and make a universe in our country also. Let’s see. There was a risk, If Simmba would have not worked, Singham was coming in that film, plus Sooryavanshi as well. So again it was like a risk we took. Then for the Hindi audience, they will understand this thing that Singham (how did he arrive and how is he connected." (kese aa gaya isme, acha ab ye kaun hai). It worked for us and then after it, we all started making universe sort of thing in every genre.”

Next, we see the host talking about Singham's entry inSimmba and calling it pure magic, asking Ajay if he remembers his entry scene inSimmba. To which Ajay responded, “Ya, of course, I remember that started shooting it, when the Scorpio (car) turns in and I get off, that again becomes so significant that it had to be repeated and it became a part of Singham’s character.”
