Chinmayi Sripaada Slams Vairamuthu Over Hema Committee Comment
Her tweet read "Anywhere else this Tamilian Harvey Weinstein would be investigated at the very least. Gangrape cases have evidence fudged and dont get justice in our country so wishing for justice is too much in India. Almost 20 women have named Vairamuthu, yet the shamelessness to platform him requires a special wiring,".
"This is very important. I will state that the Hema Committee should be created in important fields in all states. Not just in cinema, but women are seeking security in all fields in the country. Women are being exploited and subjected to sexual abuse," Vairamuthu said.
Another tweet read "Why cant the media in Chennai ask him about the multiple sexual harassment allegations??
Are the rules different here for a Tamil lyricist?"
One has to note that Chinmayi is fighting her sexual harassment case against Vairamuthu.
