shocking twist: youtuber who wrote song for salman khan behind rs 5 crore threat, arrested

In a shocking twist, the Mumbai Police on Tuesday arrested YouTuber Sohail Pasha from Karnataka on charges of threatening Bollywood actor Salman Khan. According to the police, Pasha had issued a threat message on November 7, demanding Rs 5 crore. The message, received by the Mumbai Traffic Control Department, also shockingly referenced Pasha's own involvement. "Whoever wrote Main Sikandar Hoon, we will end him," the message read, referring to the song Pasha wrote for Khan. "Those who support Salman will not be spared either. If Salman wants to be safe, he must pay Rs 5 crore," the message added.

Pasha signed off the message as Lawrence Bishnoi. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter has now been charged under several sections of the BNS, according to the police.

How Pasha Was Arrested

During the investigation in this case, the police found out that the number from which this threat was sent was registered in the name of a person named Venkatesh Narayan. The Mumbai Police team reached Karnataka in search of the accused. When Venkatesh's phone was checked, it was found that he had a simple phone with no WhatsApp installed. On checking further, the police saw that an OTP was received on this number to install WhatsApp in his phone.

Police investigation revealed that Venkatesh had gone to the market one day and an unknown person asked for his mobile to make a call. After this, Venkatesh gave him his phone and that person installed WhatsApp using Venkatesh's number.

After a detailed investigation, the police arrested Pasha.

Multiple Threats To Salman Khan

Khan, who has been targeted by the infamous Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the past, has faced multiple threats recently. On November 7, the Mumbai Police's Traffic Department helpline at Worli headquarters received a text message, allegedly from the Bishnoi gang, demanding Rs 5 crore from both Salman Khan and the lyricist of Main Sikandar Hoon.

Shockingly, the writer of the song turned out to be the accused.
