The Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association (KHASA) organises the daily Shillong Teer lottery at the Shillong Polo Ground in Meghalaya, providing participants with a unique opportunity to win substantial cash prizes. This event also serves as a platform to motivate local youth to hone their archery skills and progress in the sport. Here, you can find the complete list of winning numbers for the day, updated by the Meghalaya Lottery Department.

Participants stand a chance to win cash prizes through these lottery draws while supporting KHASA. Results can be checked on the official KHASA website and meghalayateer.com.

Shillong Teer: A walkthrough

If you’re a first-time Shillong Teer player or are looking for a 101 to familiarise yourself with how it works, then you’ve come to the right place. Shillong, Juwai and Khanapara Teers are all archery-based lotteries in Meghalaya. This means your ticket won’t come up in a lucky draw.

Played from Monday to Saturday, or six days in a week, Shillong Teer, like other Meghalaya lotteries, features two rounds of archery. Archers playing for some or all the 12 clubs affiliated with the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Institute (KHASI) participate in these sessions.

Lottery players have to predict in advance what the winning numbers would be for both the sessions. Then, archers shoot a specific number of arrows. At the end of each round, the last two digits of the number of target hits is declared as the winning sequence.

The winning numbers for Shillong Teer first round come out at 3:45 pm and the second-round winners are announced at 4:45 pm.

How to Participate in the Shillong Lottery

In the Shillong Teer game, players take part in two rounds of archery. The first round involves 30 arrows shot by skilled archers, and the second round involves 20 arrows. Participants bet on the number of arrows hitting the target, picking a number between 0 and 99. Correct guesses in both rounds result in winnings. Tickets are sold exclusively by authorised vendors and range from Rs 1 to Rs 50.

Winning amounts are based on the accuracy of predictions and the bet amount. For instance, a successful Rs 1 wager in the first round can win Rs 80, while a correct Rs 1 prediction in the second round yields Rs 60. Accurately predicting both rounds with a Rs 1 bet can earn up to Rs 4,000. In addition to Shillong Teer, other similar lotteries like Khanapara, Jowai, and Ladrymbai Teer are also popular across Meghalaya.
