Last week, Mumbai Police interrogated an individual regarding a death threat and a demand for ₹50 lakh made to Shah Rukh Khan. A case has been registered under sections of extortion and criminal intimidation. The phone number from which the threat call originated was traced back to a Raipur lawyer. This incident is reminiscent of previous threats made to Salman Khan, purportedly by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
