Jawan boasted an ensemble cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Riddhi Dogra, among others.
Following the film's release, Lady Superstar Nayanthara shared her thoughts on making his Bollywood debut with SRK. "Who is not his fan? We have all grown up watching his films, and we all love them. Apart from being the huge star that he is, I really admire the fact that he respects women a lot… I was pretty sure that Jawan would create a huge impact. After working so many years in the industry, you know when a film is going to work and vice versa," she shared during an interview.
The film, helmed by Atlee, was a blockbuster hit. It became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2023 by earning Rs 1148 crore, approx. Not only that, the movie bagged a total of 14 nominations at the 69th Filmfare Awards.
