Shah Rukh Khan received birthday wishes from fans and friends from across the film industries. As the Bollywood superstar turned 59 on November 2, he was surprised with a special message from veteran actor Kamal Haasan too.
Haasan on Saturday took to his X (formely Twitter) handle. He posted, "Happy Birthday my friend @iamsrk. You've lived with dignity and charm, always wearing a smile that could still be a nation. May you continue to light up screens and hearts alike!"

SRK and Kamal Haasan's Hey Ram
The Tamil legend's wish for SRK grabbed the eyeballs of both their fans who flooded the comments section hailing their friendship.
Shah Rukh Khan and Kamal Haasan shared screen space in Hey Ram (2000). The film was directed by Haasan himself and also starred Rani Mukerji. SRK played a supporting role in the historical drama.
According to the makers' note on Hey Ram, “This fictional Indian drama tells the story of Saketh Ram (Kamal Hassan), a disillusioned man who tries to kill Mohandas Gandhi (Iravathi Hershe). After sectarian violence claims the life of his wife, Aparna (Hema Malini), Saketh becomes a Hindu extremist, and, although Muslims are responsible for his wife’s death, he begins to blame Gandhi and his tolerant approach to religious differences. Concerned only with his idea of vengeance, Saketh is consumed with hatred and zealotry.

Shah Rukh Khan receives special birthday wishes
As the entire Bollywood joins to wish the Badshah of Bollywood, his popular movie Karan Arjun is also set to have its re-release this month. The film’s specially made teaser has been attached to this weekend’s releases, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in theatres.
Karan Arjun also starred Salman Khan and Rakhee, along with Kajol and Mamta Kulkarni. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, it was originally released in 1995 and has acquired a cult status over the years.
