India is all set set to be swayed by padel fever as the much-awaited Cupra FIP Promotion India Event will be held at Bennett University in Greater Noida from November 19 to Sunday, November 24, with multiple players from across the world flocking to the Delhi NCR Region. The game of padel is presently the fastest growing sports in the world with 25 million active players across 110 countries.
It is also making waves in India and in the last 7 years, we have seen a significant rise and an overall infrastructure development across the country. At the upcoming international tournament, Sergi Guimet Bigas will be one of the players, who'll be headlining India, teaming up with Joel Olivera Palos.
The 26-year-old Sergi turned pro in 2023 and since then participated in 28 events. His best finish so far has been to reach the Finals of the FIP Promotion Melbourne Padel Open and FIP Rise Australian Open.

The Southpaw has earned a total of 95 points so far in his career and his presently ranked 201st in the world. The left-right combination makes Sergi-Joel pair one of the strongest teams to look forward to in the upcoming tournament.
Sergi's last tournament was the FIP Gold Potosi, where he reached the Round of 16 of the competition, earning him 11 points.

This particular tournament at Bennett University will go on till 24th November and a strong footfall is expected during this 6-day extravaganza.
