Noted comedian Seerunde Raghu Comedy Khiladigulu TV show fame is set to debut as a lead actor in the upcoming movie Ranaksha. The film, directed by Raghav, known for his previous work Mareyade Kshamisu, marks a significant shift in Raghu’s career from a comedian to a lead actor.
Impressed by comedy skills
Director Raghav, who has also written the story and screenplay, revealed his decision to cast Raghu as the hero after being impressed by his performance in the TV Show.
"Raghu has been a friend for many years and after seeing his acting, I knew he was perfect for this role," Raghav shared.
Ranaksha, a suspense thriller with a family backdrop, delves into the battle between good and evil with Raghu’s character playing a central role in the storyline.

Good and Devil
The film's trailer was recently unveiled. Produced under the KVR Pictures banner by Ramu and Shobha Shivaji Rao, the film features Raksha in the female lead role.
Raghav described Ranaksha as a unique blend of family drama and supernatural elements. “The story focuses on the conflict between God and the Devil, and how humans must face challenges head-on, regardless of the obstacles,” he said.
Raghu, while remaining tight-lipped about his character’s arc, hinted that his role will keep the audience guessing until the end. "I have worked in over 20 films in smaller roles, but this is my first leading role. My character’s journey with four friends is central to the plot and all will be revealed in the final moments," Raghu shared.
