A busy freeway was partially closed Tuesday morning in Scottsdale due to a semi-truck fire that started on Loop 101 close to Hayden Road. As firefighters attempted to extinguish the fire, thick smoke was visible rising in the surrounding area. The Arizona Department of Transportation reports that all traffic is leaving the interstate at Hayden Road and that Loop 101 westbound is closed.
