One will never forget how Bangladesh's skipper Shakib al Hasan timed out Sri Lanka's Angelo Mathews during their ODI World Cup encounter last year. It was the hottest topic of debate back then but as per the rules, Mathews was given out since he didn't check his faulty helmet before coming in and fixing it on the ground meant he had taken more than three minutes since the previous dismissal.
Although Shakib had the option of taking back the appeal, he didn't and Mathews was given out. Ten months have passed but it seems like the fear persists in cricketing circles.
On Monday, Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed was seen hobbling into the ground in a hurry even though he wasn't entirely ready and was seen putting on his gloves and adjusting his helmet on the way. Watch the video here:

Pakistan were skittled out for a paltry 172 in the second innings, thanks to the pace of Hasan Mahmud and Nahid Rana, who shared nine wickets between them. The other wicket was picked by Taskin Ahmed, the first instance of Bangladesh picking all 10 wickets in an innings.
