The upcoming Kannada film Vritta is generating buzz with its intriguing suspense thriller storyline, as actor Sathish Ninasam is set to present the film under his banner — Sathish Picture House. This marks another promising addition to the Kannada film industry.
Vritta teaser released
While numerous movie trailers and teasers are released on a daily basis, only a select few manage to capture audience attention. Vritta stands out with its unique narrative structure, diverging from conventional storytelling.
After completing the film and unveiling its teaser, the Vritta team has garnered the support of Sathish Ninasam, who expressed enthusiasm for the project. His involvement signifies confidence in the film’s potential.
Making his directorial debut in the Kannada cinema, Likith Kumar S helms Vritta, produced by T. Shivakumar under the Lakshya Arts banner.
The film employs synchronised sound, enhancing its technical quality. The screenplay is written by Yogeesh Gowda, with editing by Suresh Armugam, dialogues by Shankar Raman, cinematography by Gautham Krishna, and music composed by Antony and Hari Krishanth S.
Notably, the film features a cast primarily comprised of newcomers, with the team optimistic about its technical strength.

Vritta cast
The film stars Maahir Mohiddin, Chaitra J Achar, and Harini Sundararajan. Maahir, who takes on the lead role comes from a theatre background, and his performance in the teaser has drawn significant attention.
Speaking to media persons, Maahir shared, "Acting has been my dream for many years, and I am fulfilling it through theatre. Now, I am excited to debut on the big screen with Vritta.
Director Likith expressed gratitude for Sathish Ninasam’s support, indicating readiness for the film's release. During the event, Sathish Ninasam acknowledged the film's quality, stating, "I am supporting this project not just because it features newcomers but because it is genuinely good."
The team is currently preparing to launch the film's trailer soon, with plans for a release by the end of the year.
