Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Release Date (Expected)
Samsung had launched the Galaxy S24 Ultra at the Galaxy Unpacked event in January this year. The company is expected to follow suit with the flagship's successor. The Galaxy S25 Ultra could be unveiled in January 2025, with a market release following soon after.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Price in India (Expected)
While exact pricing for India is far from confirmed, it will likely be similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which starts at Rs 1,29,999 for the 256GB model and goes up to Rs 1,59,999 for the 1TB variant. The price may see a slight increase due to the upgraded RAM and features.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Design
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to bring a fresh design to Samsung’s Ultra lineup. Unlike its predecessors, which had a boxy look, this model will feature a more streamlined, curved finish. The new design includes rounded corners and a unique asymmetrical frame that enhances screen size without enlarging the phone. This will make the S25 Ultra more compact than the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Specifications (Expected)
Samsung’s new flagship will continue with a flat display. Leaked details suggest a 6.9-inch LTPO Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with QHD+ resolution, which should offer a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screen is expected to be brighter and more resistant to glare, ensuring better visibility in bright conditions. The S Pen will remain a feature, even with the new, slimmer design.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumoured to come with major camera improvements. It will retain a 200MP main camera but might feature a newer sensor for enhanced imaging. The 3x zoom camera could see an upgrade to a 50MP sensor, and the ultrawide camera might also get a boost to 50MP. This could result in a powerful 200MP+50MP+50MP+50MP camera setup. The selfie camera is likely to stay the same as the previous model but expect enhancements in overall camera performance and video recording capabilities.
The S25 Ultra is anticipated to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, which will likely be a custom-made for Galaxy devices. This new chip, built on a 3nm process, promises better performance and efficiency. Samsung may also offer 16GB of RAM as standard and upgrade storage to UFS 4.1 technology. The phone will come in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.
Samsung is expected to stick with the 5,000mAh battery from the previous model, supporting 45W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
