In more exciting news for pickleball fans in India, Roman Estareja is set to visit the country for his maiden appearance in the upcoming PWR (Pickleball World Rankings) DUPR India Masters next month. The India Masters will be taking place from 24-27 October 2024 in Delhi and Roman becomes the latest marquee name to join the star-studded lineup for the tournament.
Roman Estareja, who is well renowned as the pickleball 'Reset King' won the PPA Australia Brisbane Men's Doubles Gold medal and he was adjudged as the MLP Brisbane MVP.
PWR confirmed Roman's participation in the upcoming tournament via their social media handles.

The PPA Australia Brisbane Men’s Doubles Gold Medalist and MLP Brisbane MVP is ready to battle it out against the best of the best! Get ready for top-tier action as Roman makes his India debut from 24-27 October 2024 in Delhi! This is going to be EPIC," read the caption of the post.

The iconic DLTA Stadium in New Delhi will host the PWR DUPR India Masters, a tournament that will kick off the Pickleball World Rankings (PWR) schedule. The India Masters will present a prize money worth $50000 and will be the first competition in the PWR DUPR Indian Tour. To flag off the DUPR Indian Tour & League, eight-time Grand Slam champion and former World No. 1 tennis player Andre Agassi will also visit India in January 2025.
Apart from Roman, Leander Lazaro, the best Pickleball player from the Philippines and Xiao Yi Wang-Beckvall, one of Hawaii’s top Pickleball pros and a PPA Australia gold medalist have also been confirmed for the India Masters among other marquee names.
Somer Dalla Bona, Aditya Ruhela, Sarah Burr, Roos Van Reek, Harsh Mehta, Asia's #1 Phuc Huynh, Matthew Nola, Sarah Jane Lim, and Willy Chung are other big names who will be participating in the India Masters across categories.
