Ahead of that, several names for the potential list of contestants have been doing the rounds on social media. Among them was Rithvik Dhanjani. He was rumoured to have been approached for the Salman Khan-hosted show. However, today, September 24, the actor and host refuted the reports in a social media post.

Rithvik Dhanjani won't enter BB 18

Taking to his Instagram stories, Rithwik Dhanjani writes, "#FakeNews alert!! False NEWS! Not my cup of tea, too much work to get locked up and I like it that way! Requesting the media (folded hands emoji). Please let's not make incorrect headlines with my name, there's enough good things to talk about."
