Following a 10-month hiatus, Seunghan is set to re-join RIIZE. While most BRIIZE have been celebrating the singer's return, some 'OT6 fans' aren't too happy about it. They have been protesting his return, stating that his past scandals could affect RIIZE's reputation. Now, RIIZE's Wonbin has spoken up about Seunghan's return and the protests.
Wonbin shows support after Seunghan announces return to RIIZE
Taking to Weverse, Wonbin stood up for Seunghan. “Us, Seunghan and the company, have talked about this for a long period of time. I just want you to know that all the members thought about it together and gave a lot of thoughts on this over and over again.”

While the singer apologised to the fandom, writing, "We just want to always make all of BRIIZE is happy, but I feel like we’re not able to do so, so I feel sorry," he also asked them to show support for the group in the future. "There is no RIIZE without BRIIZE. I always say this, but I really want to keep on creating great memories with BRIIZE, and and see you for a long, long time. So, just like how you’ve been doing until now, if you continue to watch over us warmly and support us, I think it would be a huge source of strength for us. I promise that we’ll continue to work hard without changing, so that RIIZE can remain as BRIIZE's pride."
SM Entertainment announces Seunghan's return to RIIZE
On October 11, RIIZE’s label SM Entertainment announced that Seunghan would be returning to the group. “After numerous discussions with the staff and members about the direction of the group’s future activities, it has been decided that Seunghan will be returning to the group,” the label stated, before adding, “We plan for Seunghan to gradually participate in some of the group’s scheduled activities for November and greet the fans once again.”

For the unversed, in 2023, Seunghan was caught up in multiple controversies after pre-debut pics and clips of him surfaced online. In the leaked media, the RIIZE member could be seen smoking, hanging out with girls and allegedly badmouthing another K-pop idol.
