Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Shalini Passi walked the runway forMonisha Jaising at Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI. Riddhima, a popular jewellery designer, and Shalini, an art collector, are making their TV debut inFabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives.
Monisha's collection, The Sailing Bride 2.0, was described as a "Cool Holiday Bridal Line" for the bride who prefers to keep it calm and laid-back.
Shalini opened the show in a metallic kaftan, featuring Monisha’s signature kurti-inspired embroidery, beautifully embellished on the neckline.

The collection, originally from 2015, was revived for the upcoming wedding season, with a large part of it inspired by Monisha’s 2017 collection. Monisha said, "I am thrilled to unveil The Sailing Bride 2.0 at the prestigious Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI this year. Our journey began with inspiration from our 2017 opening show on an international luxury cruise liner docked in Mumbai. This collection reflects the joy of a modern woman, unafraid to spread her wings and embrace her individuality. It’s a wonderful opportunity to share my vision with you all, and I can't wait for everyone to experience the magic of this collection."
Riddhima wore an evening gown inspired by the rich Banarasi brocade, with the bodice crafted in a bandage style using the ornate borders of traditional sarees.
Top picks from the collection included high-waisted skirts paired with cropped tops embellished with sequins, beads, and metallic embroidery, as well as bralettes teamed with wide-legged trousers and monochrome sets. Silks, satin, and organza dominated the fabrics of the collection.
