Laura Loomer, the far-right social media journalist known for her association with former president Donald Trump, has claimed that Robert F Kennedy Jr is now in charge of the former president's 'transition team.' The former Democrat posted on Instagram Stories hiring 4,000 people for a future Trump administration. Loomer hit out at him, suggesting that the entire exercise lacked authenticity and could be a data collection exercise.
"So why is RFK saying on his Instagram he’s now in charge of hiring 4,000 people for the Trump transition?" Loomer wrote in an X post on Sunday. "The link appears to be a data collection and doesn’t even direct to an official Trump page. Is he just harvesting Data? Did he run this by the campaign?"
"So again, has RFK Jr taken over the Trump transition?" Loomer asked.

What Prompted The Backlash From Loomer?
On Sunday, Robert F Kennedy made a post from his Instagram handle for the campaign MAHA- or, Make America Healthy Again. It sought to recruit 4,000 'Nominees for the People' who will be working for government agencies.
"RFK Jr wants your help nominating people of integrity and courage for the more than 4,000 appointments for government agencies in a future Trump administration," the post said. It contained a link to a website where the interested candidate can register.
In the 'About' section of the website, the email id of the Kennedy team has been provided. The site also lists a bunch of admins and moderators. Team Kennedy is one of the admins.
The About section said: "Trump has stated that he was not able to “drain the swamp” during his first term, and he’s welcomed Bobby’s expertise in getting the job done in his second term. But Bobby cannot do this alone, so he is now turning to the wisdom and expertise of his supporters – and the larger community who want to Make America Healthy Again.."
