India are currently taking on Bangladesh in the final Test of the two-match series at the Green Park International Stadium in Kanpur. One of the players that fans had an eye on as to how he will perform is Ravindra Jadeja, who had a great outing with both bat and ball in the first Test. Even though he could not perform upto expectations in the match, he has managed to create history by becoming the firs left-arm spinner from India to achieve a huge feat.

Ravindra Jadeja picked up a single wicket in the first innings of the match against Bangladesh in the form of Khaled Ahmed. This was the 300th Test wicket for Jadeja. He thus becomes the first left-arm spinner from India to take 300 wickets in Test Cricket history

He also becomes the second fastest to achieve this feat breaking the record of the great Sir Ian Botham of England

Ravindra Jadeja He said that he was proud of himself after taking 300 Test wickets.. He also opened up on how everyone used to tell him that he was just a whitw-ball cricketer.
“It's special when you achieve something for India. I've been playing Tests for 10 years and finally I've reached this milestone. I've done well and I'm proud of myself, and feeling happy and good,” Jadeja said.
As a youngster, I started with white-ball cricket and everyone used to tell me I was a white-ball cricketer. But I worked hard with the red ball and finally all the hardwork has paid off” he added.
