Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, died in Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital. The 86-year-old was admitted earlier this week and was undergoing routine medical investigations. On Wednesday Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran issued a statement, remembering the company icon's unwavering commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation.
"It is with a profound sense of loss that we bid farewell to Mr. Ratan Naval Tata, a truly uncommon leader whose immeasurable contributions have shaped not only the Tata Group but also the very fabric of our nation," Chandrasekaran said.
